Milwaukee man charged with raping 2-year-old

Milwaukee-Police arrested Rodney Redell Jett, 18-years-old for rapping a 2-year-old child on Sept 4.
Rodney Redell Jett who lives at the 3400 block of N. 17th St, was charged with three counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child. The complaint says that the child's mother had left him in care of Jett, whom she has known for some time, while she went out to find cigarettes.
When she returned she noticed that the baby was crying and wearing different clothes and was bleeding. The complaint goes on to say that Jett tried to take the child upstairs and put him to bed. The mother told police that she attempted to attack Jett in various ways, including chocking him with a phone cord and stabbing him with a knife and scissors.
Jett told police he took ecstay and looked at a pornographic magazine before raping the 2-year-old who he believed was the son of a man who had robbed him, according to the complaint.
