Kenosha- Ryan Schabo, 25, a Kenosha County deputy sheriff was arrested on Monday and charged with third-degree sexual assault and misconduct in public office. He was released on a $5,000 signature bond and ordered to return to court Sept. 25 to continue his initial appearance.

Schabo has been placed on administration leave pending the out come of the case.

According to the the criminal complaint, Schabo stopped a 22-year-old woman in the town of Bristol around 2:45 a.m. Saturday as she drove home from work.

The woman told authorities she recognized Schabo because she had seen him before. Schabo told the woman that she could not legally drive because her drivers license was suspended and she was wanted on two warrants.

The woman told authorities that Schabo told her that she probably  would go to jail for the weekend. The woman said she asked Schabo what he wanted her to do and he told her to preform a sex act. She said she was allowed to drive home after preforming the sex act.
