Deer hunting season starts off with two deaths

Natural causes for both suspected

As the 2006 deer hunting season got under way, two firemen both are suspected of dieing from natural causes.
Gary Van Vonderen, 52, of Kaukauna was found after he failed to return home. According to the Outagamie County Sheriff's Department they found his body inside his truck which was found several hundred feet in a cornfield. An autopsy was scheduled to be preformed.
The other firefighter that was found dead was 66-year -old Robert Nett. He was found dead in a tree stand by his son and grandchild.
Foul play was not suspected in either of these hunters.
