Boy chokes to death on toy dart

A 10-year-old boy from Milwaukee died Tuesday after a plastic dart becameĀ lodged in his throat.
Desmond Young a fourth grade student at Our Lady of Sorrows Elementary School, 4059 N. 64th St died in his classroom as other students were present and watched.
The dart which was no longer then 1 inch and had a rubber suction cup on the end of it. The fire department said that the suction cup prevented them from extracting it from his throat. It was not clear as to why the dart was in his mouth to begin with.
