Delafield- I think that I may have found one of the dirtiest Burger King's in the state of Wisconsin.

I would not usually write about such a place but after stopping at this one I could hardly hold back from telling everyone about it.

Last Saturday after taking my daughters out to see our horse we decided to stop for a late lunch at the Burger King in Delafield located at 2725 Heritage Drive. This restaurant was so filthy I was surprised the garbage cans in the place were not being carried around by rats.

First thing that I noticed was the garbage can at the front door once I walked in. There was so much garbage that it was falling out and all over the floor. People had to step on the garbage to come in or to leave. This made me wonder why no one was attending to the garbage.

I walked up to the counter where I found a manager counting cash from a register. As I started to talk to her about the garbage I could see behind the counter and from what I saw it made the garbage can look good.

The floor behind the counter was so dirty that the people working there were kicking the food and garbage out of their way so they could walk.  The counters were loaded with food, fries, empty bags and half filled soda cups.

I asked the manager why it looked so horrible in there and she replied to me that if I did not like it, I could help clean it up.

Not long afterwards I watched a young lady come over and grab a broom and dust pan and take two fast swipes at the garbage on the floor. She then leaned the broom and dust pan up against the food station and went over to the drive thru window and rang a customer up. After ringing the customer up I saw her go to the work station and make the food order, bring it back to the front and place it in a bag and send that customer on their way.

Not one time did I see her or anyone wash their hands before going from touching cash, the broom or dust pan to handling and making customers food.

We did notify the Waukesha County health department and there is an investigation going on because of the pictures that were taken and our complaint.

If the things you see are not right then just imagine what is wrong with the things you can not see from standing at the counter.
