Ex-Milwaukee officer describes Jude beating
MILWAUKEE -- There was shocking testimony Friday in the trial of three fired and one suspended Milwaukee police officer.
Three former Milwaukee police officers, Jon Bartlett, Daniel Masarik, Ryan Packard and Andrew Spengler are all charged with beating Frank Jude Jr. in Bayview during a house party in 2004.
Jon Clausing a former police officer described how he saw Jude get beat and tortured by off duty Milwaukee police officers during the early moring hours in 2004. Clausing also admitted that he helped hold Jude down while Jude was beaten.
Clausing has already pled guilty to violating Jude's and Harris' civil rights and cut a deal with prosecutors to testify for a lesser sentence.
Jill Kieselhorst a former girl friend of Andrew Spengler testified that Spengler grabbed a gun from his bedroom and went outside after Jude.
During the state trial Jude reported that someone had placed a gun to his head, but officer's denied there was a gun involved.
