Gov. Doyle Signs Bill Cutting Wages to Fired Officers


Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle said it was a tough fight, but result will save taxpayers money.

 
 
Milwaukee --The bill that came after the outrage surrounding fired officers remaining on the payroll of the city has been signed into law.
 
Governor Doyle signed the bill this morning at Milwaukee City Hall.
 
Supporters expressed their approval.  That included the family of Frank Jude, Jr. He's the officer beat up by Milwaukee Police Officers who remained on the payroll for months after being fired.
